This is a take-off from a repair I did for someone that had scratched the outboard edge of the mirror housing. A perfectionist that simply couldn't have a blemish on her then-2-week-old motorcycle, her loss is your gain - IF you can handle a bit of a scratch in the aluminum (won't rust) housing. I mean, if you're looking on Craigslist for this then your mirror's probably in WAY worse shape.
