I'm looking to reglaze/resurface the porcelain on my 1950's bathtub, and I'm trying to decide if in-home resurfacing by places like Perma Ceram or Bathcrest is the way to go.

Seems like a good deal - 5-8 hour process, ready to use in two days, relatively inexpensive, don't have to remove the tub.

Anyone have any experience with this process? I'm interested in hearing both pros and cons. If you reply, please let me know which company you used.

Four of the boards are 5.5 inches wide, while the other two boards are 7.5 inches wide. It was harvested this past summer. Kiln dried to 6 to7% moisture content, showing flecks and grains.
