Howdy,

Recently, I have found placement for my student teaching at a wonderful school just outside of Princeton. I was hoping to possibly find a place to stay for the three month period in the area to alleviate me of having an hour and a half commute from home. Being placed in a school like this is going to be an amazing experience and I would hate to have to pass it up due to a simple housing situation. Hi, I'm looking to rent a room in a house/apartment situation for hopefully no more than two months. Let me explain my situation: Like most people who have become victims of this economy, I was laid off, and my husband has been given the choice of either working in Philly or leaving the company altogether. As of now, we can't afford the beautiful house we were renting, so we did not renew the lease for another year which means we have to be out of here the weekend right after New Year's Day. My husband will be working in Philly and staying with a relative. However, that house is so crowded, we decided the only real workable option is for me to stay a couple of months in NJ while he gets together the funds, and finds a place for us to move into. Once our income tax refund comes in, we will be good to go, but until then, we have to make a lot of sacrifices.
It will be just me, a 32 year old intelligent, quiet, down to earth woman who spends a lot of time reading or watching crime shows in my own room. I don't smoke, drink, or have gatherings. My husband will only be able to visit me once a week at most, but it will probably not even be that often, and if you have a problem with him spending the night at the house, he can leave in the evening to go back to Philly.
I have no real needs except for a little space to sleep in, even if it's an attic or basement area. I'm only bringing my clothes, a couple of bags of valuables and bathroom/ makeup stuff, and a TV. I won't be bringing furniture, but I'm sure I can go to Goodwill and get a small dresser and an air mattress, so don't worry if the space is not furnished. I am ideally looking in the Mercer County area, I guess Trenton area because I already live in Trenton, and it's close to the train station, but I'm willing to consider outside of Trenton as well, of course.
I can do $400/month. I am also willing to do all your housework like dusting, vacuum, laundry, dishes,etc and take care of your pets in exchange for a discount on the rent, like $300 a month + housekeeping/pet care. I used to be a nanny and a housekeeper for a nursing home, so I am used to cleaning up and running a household. Hi,

We are a responsible, clean, quiet family of 3. My husband who is full-time employed, myself who is a SAHM and our 2.5 year old son. We also have a well behaved, housetrained cat. We are looking for preferrably a single family house with a yard but at this point will rule nothing out. 2 bedrooms minimum and must have a washer/dryer or hookups. Those are the only must have's! Oh and a bathtub...only need 1 bathroom but it must be a full bath.

We need this ASAP as our current landlord will not replace/repair the furnace. We're going broke (and are cold!) running space heaters! Unfortunately the borough cannot get him to court until the middle of January and that's still no guarantee we will have a new furnace at that time.

We can afford to pay up to $1100/month + utilities or up to $1200 if some utilities are included.

We take care of our home as if it were our own. We pay our rent on time and honor our lease, provided you do the same. We're friendly and just a very nice family who seem to run into bad luck every which way we turn! We'd prefer to stay in Keansburg so my son can go to preschool next fall but at this point, we're open to surrounding areas.

Only private home owners please reply. We have a realtor already who's working with us so if your property is realty-listed and in our price range, we've probably seen it!
