Out returning those "thoughtful" gifts? Take the two hours to sit and laugh and then head back out. I know many of you said this was a "must see". So, come see it with us!

The movie begins at 1:55 and I'd strongly suggest that you buy your tickets on Fandango and print them out before you come to the theater. I will be outside the theater with a sign, but will head in around 1:45. It is very difficult to save seats for everybody, so please try and be on time so you can be with the group.

I used to entertain those daydreams myself, but now I’m actually working towards being that “lucky” person.
You know, it’s been said that one of the best ways to become wealthy is to find an unmet need, then find a product or service
that fills that need at both an affordable and profitable price. THAT’s the hard part; finding that solution. When deciding on
how I wanted to pursue this dream, I was very selective:
First, I wanted to offer a product or service I could stand behind, without having to compete with other companies and retailers.
In other words, I didn’t want to try to meet a need that had already been met (or that could be met with a trip to the local
discount store). There are opportunities available to sell almost anything; vitamins and health supplements, make-up, long
distance services, even jewelery. The market for those types of products/services is incredibly small since most people have
already found a solution or supplier they’re happy with. Those opportunities require a skilled salesperson to persuade someone
to switch from an already trusted solution to the new product.
Second, I also wanted an opportunity that would give me a high expectation of earning income and pay me on a regular basis,
without having to purchase a bunch of inventory to store in my garage. What a hassle!
I found what I believe is the perfect opportunity. Let me tell you a little about what I’m doing.
I work from home. Essentially I send out information, make calls, and talk with people about the information I send. The information
highlights a service available to anyone who can’t afford to hire lawyers when they need them. (You can’t get that at
Wal-Mart or Costco!) The work is a little more detailed than that of course, but not much - and it’s easy to learn.
What makes me even more excited about this is that it’s giving me a lot of freedom I wouldn’t have otherwise. Even better, it
doesn’t take much money and only takes a few hours each week to get this business started.
Maybe the best thing about this is that I’m in the business of meeting a need with a service that gives more value than the cash
required to purchase it! What does that mean? Well, if the value received is greater than the cost to purchase, how hard do I
have to work to “sell” it? It’s nice not to have to be a high pressure persuasive salesperson AND still have an unlimited income
potential! I get to share this product/service with others and reap the benefits when they purchase.

At 18 my husband had mutual sex with a 17 year old in college. They met at a party and the 17 year old portrayed herself as a college student at that time. They got comfortable with each other and had sex. The party got raided and they got caught. The police took in my husband and from there the state picked up his case because the girl did not want to press charges. Because alcohol was involved with their meeting, my husband was convicted of 5 years probation and community service. After his five year term of community service, he was supposed to have been released from his conviction and be done with it. However, when they passed the laws to make all sex offenders register for life, he got grandfathered into it and is now experiencing the unjust and humiliating actions that come with it when people find out that he is a sex offender. I have been married to my husband for 13 years and we have three children, a two year old, a 9 year old and a 14 year old. I can assure you that he is not a threat to children or society. We have lived in a couple of cities and have never had a problem with choosing where we want to live because he is not considered a pedophile or a threat. However, we recently moved to another state and have been told that he can't live or work within 2000 ft of a school, a daycare, or a college. Well, we only moved there because he got a job transfer for a great career opportunity. Unfortunately, his job is near a school and so is the house that we are living in. He is being forced to quit his career and move away from his home. Because of this, it is putting a strain on our family and we may need to move back to Texas because of this. He is currently staying in another place that is not 2000ft from a school and our family is having a hard time with this. I do not see the justice in this and how this is making society a better and safer place. Yes, I do want to know where the high threat sex offenders are for the sake of my own kids and they should be registered for life. But not someone such as my husband who did what so many college students do at that age (have mutual sex) nor has he repeated his offense again. He has proven to be no threat to society. How can they label him in the same category as those who are a threat? In addition to that, the girl was 17 years old, not 7. She knew what she was doing. How can they say that it is against the law for a 17 year old to choose to have consensual sex with an 18 year old, but it is okay for her to make the decision drop out of school.

Through their toll-free helpline, the staff and volunteers at the non-profit NJ Self-Help Group Clearinghouse can provide you with descriptions, meeting locations & phone contacts for over 6,750 local community support groups throughout NJ, and about 1,100 national, online, & model support networks for most any illness, disability, addiction, loss of a loved one, parenting situation, caregiver concern, abuse experience, or other stressful life situation. In addition to helping people find support groups to meet their needs, they also help those interested in joining with others to start a needed new peer support group.

New support groups can be started - but only if others are willing to help those who already have expressed their initial interest in getting them off the ground. The Clearinghouse has already heard from over a hundred people who are currently seeking others "in the the same boat" to help them in starting new groups. For a listing, go to their website: www.NJgroups.org and click on the 5th menu item down, "INDIVIDUALS SEEKING OTHERS TO HELP START SPECIFIC NEW GROUPS."

So, if you're simply learning about an existing local support group, or might be interested in helping a needed new group to start, phone the Clearinghouse at 1-800-367-6274 or 1-800-FOR- M.A.S.H. (Mutual Aid Self-Help). You can call any time and leave a message, and the Clearinghouse staff will call back the next business day with the information. These support groups don't charge a fee, but if you decide to continue to attend, they may ask for minimal dues or "just pass the hat" at their meetings to pay for their low operational expenses.

If you think that any of the above listings of sample county groups may be helpful to others, please feel free to pass the URL on, post a link to it, or print and post it on any local community bulletin board. The Clearinghouse updates the listing, every 10 or so months (sooner if they hear of multiple new groups).

Coming together as volunteers to help one another "in the same boat" is an old and valued American tradition. So consider sharing your experienes, strengths and hopes. As former U.S. Surgeon General C. Hypnosis (hypnotic trance) is an altered state of consciousness in which it is possible to communicate with the subconscious mind. Your attention is completely captured and everyday reality fades into the background as your mind carries you away to a different world of the imagination. When you are being hypnotised, you are guided by the Hypnotist into this same kind of trance state somewhere between being asleep and being awake, and this is called a hypnotic trance. It is a very pleasant feeling of calmness and deep relaxation. Contrary to popular belief, when you are hypnotised you are not asleep or unconscious. You will normally have your eyes closed, but you can still hear and feel and even speak. Indeed, your concentration and awareness actually become heightened. Different people can experience hypnosis in slightly different ways. Some people may notice that they feel rather heavy, whilst others may feel light and ‘floaty.’ Often the closed eyelids can flutter a little here and there, or there may be a slight tingling sensation in various parts of the body. However some people experience nothing at all, other than a feeling of deep relaxation. The experience of hypnosis is a very personal thing, but basically, it is just a very calm and pleasant feeling – rather like being in a daydream The main requirement to enter hypnotic trance is relaxation, and for most people this is a very gradual process. For some people, entering hypnosis can be rather disappointing because they expect to suddenly ‘go under’ some strange spell and feel extremely weird - but it isn’t like that at all. For most people, there is no sudden feeling of ‘going under’ hypnosis. Sometimes individuals may doubt that they are actually being hypnotised at all because they do not experience the sudden loss of consciousness they expected. It is quite important that your expectations of hypnosis are realistic, and you understand that it is a gradual, drifting process. It is important you should understand this because during the induction into hypnosis, if you are mentally interfering all the time by constantly thinking that you are not ‘going under’, this in itself can disrupt the whole process of gradual relaxation. All you need to do, is to let yourself go, and concentrate on your Hypnotherapist’s voice so that he or she can help you to relax. When the body and the conscious mind have been sufficiently relaxed, the normal barriers to the subconscious part of the mind also become relaxed, and the subconscious becomes receptive to positive suggestion. WHAT IS POSITIVE SUGGESTION? A positive suggestion is a positively worded statement or command, which is given (or suggested) to the subconscious mind. In the relaxed state of hypnosis, the subconscious mind becomes receptive and can accept and store the positive suggestion, and subsequently act upon it. For instance, a smoker can have it suggested to him that he is now a non-smoker, and that suggestion is then left in the subconscious mind, so that the person no longer wishes to smoke. However, for the suggestion to be properly accepted into the subconscious mind, it is important that the smoker really wants to give up the habit. In brief, positive suggestions can re-programme the mind to bring about beneficial changes. WHAT IS THE SUBCONSCIOUS (sometimes called the UNCONSCIOUS) MIND? That is a big question –and this is a very brief answer. Your mind consists of two parts; the CONSCIOUS and the SUBCONSCIOUS. The CONSCIOUS mind inhabits the surface level. This part of the mind is where you do all your everyday conscious thinking. At a deeper level, we have the SUBCONSCIOUS mind, and this part of the mind deals with your unconscious actions – the things you do automatically. In the subconscious you keep your habits, and also your habitual fears - and from here all your automatic responses are triggered . The subconscious also stores your memories – and all the things that have had a hand in making you what you are today. HOW IS A HYPNOTIC TRANCE INDUCED? There are several ways to induce hypnosis, and different Hypnotists will use their own favourite methods. Stage Hypnotists and Hypnotherapists may employ different methods. Some Hypnotherapists like to start with some form of fascination. They may ask you to concentrate on a revolving spiral, or some other object. But don’t be disappointed if this technique is not used, as it is just a variation, not a necessity. Honestly, not many people ask you to gaze into their ‘piercing eyes,’ or stare at a swinging watch these days. That sort of thing has more to do with old fashioned Hollywood movies than modern Hypnotherapy. Most Hypnotherapists use relaxation techniques, and you are also likely to be asked to concentrate on certain things. For instance you may be asked to focus your attention on your breathing, or to imagine various things. During the induction, the therapist is likely to speak to you in a particular way, and at a particular tempo, which is designed to gently slow down the brainwaves. This will help you to gradually drift into the pleasant state of hypnotic trance, in which you will experience feelings of relaxation and well-being. Words like “relax,” “deeper,” and “sleep” or “sleepy” are often used in the induction. However, these words are not intended to send you to sleep. They are merely calming words which send special messages to the brain to help you to become very relaxed and tranquil. Hypnosis is not a state of being unconscious, but merely of having your consciousness altered – indeed your mind remains clear and focused, and you are likely to remember most of what was said to you. Some people are very easy to hypnotise, whilst others take longer. Most people remain in a fairly light state of hypnotic trance, whilst a very small percentage naturally go to much deeper levels. Sometimes people drift in and out of lighter and deeper states. All this is perfectly normal. Deep states of hypnosis are not required for successful therapy. COULD I BE HYPNOTIZED AGAINST MY WILL? No, your co-operation is required CAN ANYBODY BE HYPNOTISED, OR DO YOU HAVE TO BE WEAK MINDED? On the contrary, you need a reasonable amount of intelligence in order to be hypnotised. The people who respond best to hypnosis are those who are capable of concentration, imagination and mental dexterity. Most people can be hypnotised. The exceptions are those who are mentally subnormal, young children, or those who are ‘high’ on drugs or alcohol. Everybody else (who properly co-operates with the process) can be hypnotized. Obviously, if somebody cannot understand what is required if them, or if they are resisting for some reason, they will have difficulty entering into hypnosis. WILL I LOSE CONTROL OF MYSELF and COULD I BE MADE TO SAY OR DO ANYTHING AGAINST MY WILL OR NATURE? No. You will know what is going on and you will retain your intelligence and your self-control. Hypnotherapy requires the client and the therapist to work together in a spirit of co-operation, in order to help you to control your own mind. For Hypnotherapy to be successful, you need to be comfortable with what is going on in the session. If any suggestion was given to you with which you did not agree, you could reject it. If anything was suggested to you that went against your beliefs or moral code you would be shocked out of hypnosis. IF YOU DON’T LOSE CONTROL, WHAT ABOUT THOSE STAGE SHOWS WHERE PEOPLE DO ALL SORTS OF SILLY THINGS? Successful stage hypnosis requires willing volunteers. These people obviously have a desire to join in the show and perform, or they wouldn’t volunteer to go on stage in the first place. Hypnosis merely helps them to lift the inhibitions which they may ordinarily have against performing. Please do not confuse Stage Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. The aims are very different. IS HYPNOSIS DANGEROUS and ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? Hypnotherapy is not dangerous. In skilled hands Hypnotherapy is a proven therapeutic aid. NO drugs should ever be used, and there are no unwanted side effects. We hope that you now have a clearer understanding of Hypnosis and it’s uses. Some ideas I have are: they need a tree and decorations ASAP, to get the Christmas Cheer flowing! (side note: I asked about their religious affilliation, thinking it's important to honor their traditions... they are Catholic). The one child is in the hospital, but I think it would be great to take the other 2 kids shopping and let them pick out gifts for mom (Kelly) and their brother. Something for mom (maybe a giftcard to her grocery store?), a Christmas eve meal, and maybe even a Christmas morning breakfast!

Is anyone willing and able to jump on board with this?

We'll need muscle and a truck (that would be for the Christmas tree), I can go through my storage and pull out decorations. We'll also need time (which I have plenty of, being a single unemployed childless woman!) to take the kids shopping and whatnot. Ideas for activities would be helpful, too. We'll need money (for the tree, the gifts, the food). If necessary, I can cook the Christmas meal here. And breakfast can be as simple as dropping off waffles, eggs, and bacon or sausage for them to prepare themselves.

So what do we all think? If anyone reading this can give anything, anything at all, please let me know. I have a good car so I can drive pretty much anywhere, to pick things up & drop things off and whatever else needs to be done. Hope to hear from you!
