BTG is looking for an experienced material planner or analyst to help plan, buy and manage inventory for our two manufacturing facilities. He/she will be the lead planner/analyst for a group of products. We will invest roughly 4-6 months to teach the person our business and to develop the relationships necessary to have a long-term career with our company.
Key Requirements:
„h Two to four years of work experience in material/inventory planning or buying in manufacturing environment
„h Strong analytical skills
„h Strong organizational and follow-up skills
„h Team-player with good interpersonal and communication skills
„h Likes to take initiative and work well under pressure
„h Bachelors degree in Business
Key Responsibilities:
„h Work with planning manager, manufacturing, and merchandising teams to set accurate planning criteria for specific product group
„h Review vendor capabilities and set accurate safety stocks based on historical lead times
„h Analyze product sales performance
„h Help set parameters for inventory buying and replenishment
„h Help develop forecasting tools to help identify inventory issues
„h Working with Mechanizing team to help launch new products
„h Working with freight forwarder and custom broker to facilitate shipment logistic
„h Working with Accounts payable and QC team to address material quality issues and returns
„h Day to day managing inventory levels and all supplier relationships for both plants
„h Buy inventory as needed against inventory and turns goals
„h Manage and maintain good working relationship with suppliers
